Micromax, Karbonn, Spice Launch Google Android One Smartphones in India; Price, Specification Details

 Search engine giant Google has officially unveiled the much-anticipated Android One devices –Micromax Canvas A1, Karbonn Sparkle V and Spice Dream UNO – in New Delhi on Monday, 15 September.

Except their names, specifications of the devices are pretty much identical. They sport 4.5-inch FWVGA screen and come packed with stock Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS out-of-the box.

Under the hood, they pack 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core CPU, Mali-400 MP GPU, 1GB RAM, 4GB inbuilt memory and a 1,700 mAh battery.
On the camera-front, they house 5.0-megepixel camera with LED flash and on the front, they flaunt 2.0-megapixel snapper for video-chatting.
All three – Micromax, Karbonn Mobiles and Spice –Android One phones will go on sale, 3:30pm IST at Amazon India, Snapdeal and Flipkart for ₹6,499, ₹6,399 and ₹6,999 respectively.
Google has also has confirmed that online exclusivity of Android One devices is valid for a limited period only and the device will soon hit shelves of brick and mortar stores, before Diwali holiday season kicks-off next month, reported AndroidOS.in.
