Asus unveiled the new Zenfone series with the large screen Zenfone 6. It has a 6-inch IPS display with 1280x720 pixel resolution and offers great viewing angles. However, Zenfone 6 offers pixel density of 245 pixels per inch which is not acceptable for such a large display. The Zenfone 6 is powered by the 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Z2560 processor which comes with hyper threading feature. Asus has packed 2 GB RAM and offers 16 GB built-in storage along with a memory slot that can accommodate a micro SD card of up to 64 GB.

Zenfone 6 runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box and Asus as promised to release the Android 4.4 KitKat version. At the back, Zenfone 6 has a 13 megapixel rear camera with an LED flash for great imaging experience and record HD videos. In the front, it has a 2 megapixel camera for video calls and clicking selfies. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB port, and GPS with GLONASS support. Measuring 9.9 mm thick, the smartphone weighs 196 grams including the 3300 mAh battery. Asus claims that the battery offers 33 hours of 3G talktime.
